A New Testament book written to a group of new believers in Jesus.  The writer expands their limited understanding of Jesus by comparing Jesus with Old Testament characters and structures.  Then he leads them to see that we all must live by a visible faith in Jesus’ person and sacrifice, which will be seen in a disciplined and moral lifestyle that is pleasing to God.
