Combined Services

Sunday@7 Service

In 2011 we introduced the Sunday@7 programme which was well received and had a healthy level of response. During term 1 of 2012 we will be considering the whole topic of Christian Leadership using the book of Philippians as a base to work from.

If you have any position of leadership in the church or community or if this is something you would like to know more about then we would encourage you to come along.  We look forward to seeing you there.

You are welcome at any service.  Simply turn up at the church a bit before the service starts and someone will meet you at the door and show you to a seat if you need that.  If you want come and simply observe, that's ok - there will be no pressure to take part in any way.  You can just see if you like it. 

If you are new, you will probably be given a 'Welcome Pack' with some information about Calvin, and you will be invited to sign the Visitors' Book.

Children

Are catered for with a children's programme which runs at the same time as the contemporary service.

Little Rainbows: Is a delightful creche run by safe & dedicated staff catering for those from 0 to 3.5 years old.

Kidz Church: This is an energetic and fun programme that caters for boys & girls, with fun games, lessons and activities.  The team who run this program are interested in your child and would be happy to talk to you.  If your child is between 3 1/2 and 10 years old, they are welcome.  If your child is new and needs support, you are welcome to stay and participate with them.

Fired Up: For ages 11 to 13 (year 7 to 9), Fired Up's programme enables them to ask questions and to  facilitate their own programme and what they would like to be learning.

The Fish Pond Cafe

This is a small cafe that runs after each contemporary church service.  There is a small cost for food and coffee to ensure that the service can be maintained.  This is a wonderful opportunity to sit, talk and meet new people.
